Kwalata Ranch is a peaceful bushveld destination where guests can enjoy nature, wildlife, and hunting experiences.
To maintain a safe and respectful environment for everyone, the following rules and guidelines must be followed during your stay.
All guests are required to read and comply with these guidelines upon arrival.
Documentation
All required documentation must be completed upon arrival.
This includes signing the indemnity form as well as permits required for hunting and transporting game meat.
A current price list is available on request.
Guides
Experienced guides are available to assist during hunting activities.
However, hunters remain responsible for the identification of species, trophy evaluation, and shooting decisions.
Hunting Times
Hunting activities are generally conducted during the cooler winter months when conditions are most suitable.
However, Kwalata Ranch holds the necessary permits that allow hunting opportunities throughout the year.
Fire Safety
Fires are only permitted in designated braai and boma areas.
Guests are requested to ensure that fires are always controlled and properly extinguished before leaving the area.
Wildlife Protection
The protection of wildlife is essential at Kwalata Ranch.
No shooting of birds, reptiles, or animals not listed on the official hunting list is permitted.
Respect for wildlife and the surrounding environment is expected at all times.
General Conduct
All activities are undertaken at the guest’s own risk.
The following are strictly prohibited:
• Littering
• Use of private vehicles on the farm
• Alcohol or smoking during hunting activities or game drives
Animals that are wounded during hunting must be paid for in full.
